       As the UK continues to be hit with dreary downpours and wind, news of a Saharan plume hitting next week will be welcome, especially to dog owners hoping to take their pooch for a sunny stroll.

       On that sunny dog-walking theme, Brits are scratching their heads to solve a poochy brainteaser that’s leaving some chasing their tail.

       The mind puzzle, created by Puppy Hero, requires readers to locate the eight missing dog treats hidden among the busy dog park scene.

       If you can find every tricky treat in under 90 seconds then you’re above the average performance of those that take on the task.

       One in ten are believed to have to throw in the towel and give up completely.

       Before taking on the challenge, it’s worth noting that what you’re looking for is golden brown and shaped like a dog bone.

       There are 12 canines in the picture and eight dog-walkers - one for every treat you need to find.

       Do you need a clue? Try not to focus too much on the cute pups, although we know its hard not to. Instead, keep a keen eye on the hounds' surroundings.

       The grass, shrubs, trees and sky may all hold hidden treasures.
