PETALING JAYA: A 28-year-old motorcyclist was killed in an accident involving three vehicles along Jalan Sungai Besar-Sekinchan nearing Kampung Sungai Nibong on Friday (Jan 21).
The motorcyclist who rode a Yamaha LC motorbike died at the scene while the driver of the three-tonne lorry involved in the accident suffered a broken leg.
According to Sinar Harian, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis said the authorities received an emergency call at 5.59am.
“Seven members of the Sekinchan fire station were rushed to the location,” he said in a statement.
Norazam added that the accident involved three vehicles which were a motorcycle, three-tonne lorry and a container.
“It was reported that the driver of the lorry broke his legs while the motorcyclist had passed away.
“Firefighters have successfully removed the trapped victims and handed them over to the police for further action,” he said.
