PETALING JAYA: Omesti Bhd has proposed to buy controlling stakes in nine companies under the Bemed Group that supply pharmaceutical and medical products for RM15.8mil

       In a filing with Bursa Malaysia yesterday, Omesti said it is acquiring 70% stakes in each company to expand its foothold in the healthcare industry.

       Omesti said it expects the expansion to contribute positively to the group. “It is also in line with the group’s strategy to seek opportunities to expand its business operations to provide another income stream.”
