KUALA LUMPUR: There was no press conference regarding a policeman suing the deputy director of the Special Branch over an alleged extortion case.

       At the lawyer’s office on Friday (May 27), media practitioners were greeted with puzzled looks by the office workers.

       “I’m sorry but there actually isn’t any press conference scheduled today,” said a staff member who did not wish to be named.

       Plainclothes policemen, who were also seen waiting outside, were told the same by the employee.

       The assembled group then left shortly after at 3.45pm.

       On Wednesday (May 25), the Edisi Khas shared a press invite to the supposed press conference today.
