PETALING JAYA: The Transport Ministry is waiting for a full report on a spate of fatal accidents that occurred over the past week, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
The Transport Minister said the report was to determine if the accidents were due to faulty vehicles, road structure, human error or other reasons.
Dr Wee was commenting on reports of nationwide accidents on June 7, 8, 11 and 12, which were being investigated under the Road Transport Act 1987.
"As Transport Minister, I take a serious view on such cases and will work to ensure that our roads are safe for all users," said Dr Wee in a Facebook post on Tuesday (June 14).
He also extended his condolences to family members of the victims.
