PETALING JAYA: The police are investigating a five-vehicle collision on Federal Highway.

       In a statement on Monday (March 14), Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said that the accident on Sunday (March 13) saw no injuries.

       "The accident occurred along the Federal Highway and a video of it has been making its rounds on social media. Investigations showed that there was no brake malfunction.

       "The driver of a black car failed to break in time. At the time, the other cars were slowing down and the driver of the black car thought the cars were still moving," he said.

       A video of the incident showed a black car on the right lane of the highway being driven. It then crashed into a car at speed, leading to several other vehicles being affected.
