       KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2: The Spring Camps Committee initially approved reducing the fee for camp insurance from KD300 to KD100, pending the approval of Minister of State for Municipal and Housing Affairs and Urban Development Shaya Al-Shaya, reports Al-Rai daily quoting sources. Sources explained the committee approved the proposed fee reduction due to the low demand for licensing camps as many are hesitant to do so because of the high insurance cost.

       Sources added the committee has yet to launch an inspection campaign to uncover violations in the camping sites, as it is currently focusing on pushing for the approval of the proposed reduction of camp insurance fee.
