The letter, a copy of which is available with Dawn, stated that since the start of the parliamentary term for current senators (2024-2027), Mr Faraz had been writing to the Senate chairman to issue production orders for Senator Chaudhry.
The production orders were issued on January 13 and March 7 but were not executed due to “frivolous reasons”.
The jailed senator has been denied his constitutional right to participate in the proceedings under Rule 84 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business, 2012.
