It comes after the Reform UK leader and new MP for Clacton was heckled by anti-racism protesters at his first event in London since his election. A number of men and women had to be chucked out by security as they disrupted the event.
The campaign group Stand Up to Racism claimed it was behind the disruption who said they spoke on behalf of “millions of people who will be appalled at the advances made by Reform UK, exposed as a racist party, and the divisive hate spewed by Farage,” reports The Guardian.
But Farage has snapped back with a straight-to-the-point post on social media platform X earlier today where he stressed he doesn’t care about ethnicity or sexual orientation - just a person’s character.

I couldn’t give a damn if you’re black or white, gay or straight. I really don’t care.
You should be judged by your character, by your ability and by your contribution to society.
We need to stop putting people into categories.

He said: “I couldn’t give a damn if you’re black or white, gay or straight. I really don’t care.
“You should be judged by your character, by your ability and by your contribution to society. We need to stop putting people into categories.”
His response comes after a statement by Mr Farage speaking about the Black community during an interview with Canadian academic Jordan Peterson had been clipped and misrepresented on social media.
Social media accounts circulated a shortened clip in which Farage says: “I was asked the other day what I was going to do for the Black community? Do you know what I said? ‘Nothing, absolutely nothing. I couldn’t give a damn...’” reports Reuters.
But in fact the full footage from The Jordan B. Peterson Podcast Mr Farage says: “I was asked the other day what I was going to do for the Black community? Do you know what I said?
