Community Fibre reportedly stopped working for thousands of customers today, February 17, with the firm later saying "lots but not all" of those unable to log on are back online.
The internet service provider, which serves 1,300,000 homes and 185,000 businesses across London, acknowledged earlier today that some customers "may be experiencing disruption to their service,” in a statement on its website.
The firm said: “Our engineers are aware of this issue and working on a solution as their top priority. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience,” it added.
Later in the afternoon, the company announced "service should now be restored" and it apologised to customers who had "suffered an outage". The company did not elaborate on what might have caused the connection issues.
