As the UK suffers from the bitter chill of February, many are left dreaming of warm escapes filled with sunshine, sandy beaches, and crystal-clear waters.

       Located in the Indian Ocean, this small island nation offers much more than just beautiful beaches.

       In February, visitors can expect an average daily temperature ranging from 25C to 30C, paired with around eight hours of sunshine per day.

       Although it’s technically cyclone season, most days are filled with warm, tropical weather, with occasional showers that quickly pass, leaving behind fresh, vibrant landscapes.

       Mauritius is often described as a slice of paradise, and it’s easy to see why. The island’s pristine beaches - like Belle Mare, Trou-aux-Biches, and Le Morne - are postcard-perfect, with powdery white sands and turquoise waters.
