PETALING JAYA: Despite the passage of time, the memory and grief linger on for those who lost their loved ones on flight MH370.
“Eight years have passed, there is no resting place, just memories. We have always been missing (you).
“Flight steward Mohd Hazrin, March 8, 2014, MH370, we have never stopped missing you. See you on the other side,” wrote his wife Intan Maizura Othaman in a TikTok posting.
Intan, 42, also shared footage of her husband passing through the customs checkpoint at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport before boarding the plane.
The disappearance of MH370, which was carrying 230 people on board from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing on March 8, 2014, has stumped the world.
Mohd Hazrin was one of the 10 cabin crew on duty that fateful night flight.
The Star’s Malay language portal, mStar, noted that Intan, who was pregnant with her second child when the flight went missing, had also posted several photos of Mohd Hazrin on her Instagram.
The photos showed her husband in his uniform. He also wore a songkok.
Intan said that although she had accepted her fate, it was not one without tears.
She ended the post with a caption “Good night Malaysia Three Seven Zero” accompanied with a heart and plane emoji.
This was in reference to the last conversation known between the air traffic controller and MH370’s cockpit before it vanished.
