       KUWAIT CITY, Dec 13: It seems the government is gearing towards making the corona vaccine booster dose a condition for citizens to travel and for foreigners to enter Kuwait, reports Al-Qabas daily quoting sources. Sources explained this is still under study, but it will most likely be implemented considering it has become a global trend. Sources said it has been recommended that efforts should be intensified to encourage the highest possible number of people to take the third dose to ensure the epidemiological situation continues to improve.

       In a related development, Assistant Undersecretary of the Cooperative Sector in the Ministry of Social Affairs Salem Al-Rashidi urged the cooperatives to make sure that all those entering their premises are strictly complying with the health regulations. An official source told the daily that the cooperatives are obliged to ensure the strict implementation of health regulations; such as wearing masks, regular sterilization and taking body temperature based on the recommendations of the Health Regulations Committee in the Council of Ministers.
