EXILED crime kingpin Steven Lyons may come out of hiding for cell death hitman Andrew ‘Dumbo’ Gallacher’s funeral, insiders said.

Clan pals Ross Monaghan, 40, and Victor Gallagher, 46 — both believed to be based in the Med — could also travel.

Cops are understood to be on high alert for the send-off after Gallacher, 43, was discovered dead at Addiewell nick in West Lothian.

A source said: “Steven, Monaghan and Dumbo were all close and they will certainly want to be there.

“But it could be too risky. Steven went abroad because of the risks and hasn’t been back for some time.”

Lyons, who has a £200,000 bounty on his head, fled abroad in 2006 after being shot in the deadly Applerow Motors ambush in Lambhill, Glasgow.

His family have been embroiled in a vicious turf war the Daniel mob for two decades.

The convicted heroin dealer was serving 20 years after being nailed over murder bid plots on Steven ‘Bonzo’ Daniel, 41, and other rivals.

‘Bonzo’ — nephew of late crime kingpin Jamie Daniel — was tailed in a 100mph car chase and carved up by machete thugs in May 2019.

Gallacher and five Lyons cronies were caged for a total of 104 years for the attempted slaying and chilling plots to target other Daniel associates.

Cops said inquiries into Gallacher’s death were ongoing.
