A DELIVERY driver is chasing compensation claiming his finger was bitten off by a dog as he tried to push a parcel through a letter box.
Julian Stefano, 40, lost the top of the middle finger on his right hand.

He said a dog was barking inside the house.

Mr Stefano is considering legal action against the house owner, or his employer over the incident in October 2020 in Tadcaster, North Yorks.
But police think his injury may have resulted from him withdrawing his finger too quickly from the letterbox.
North Yorkshire Police said: “An officer made inquiries at the property and found no dog present.
