KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah government has further eased rules for eateries, and has allowed them to set up tables at foyers or walkways outside their premises.
Sabah Covid-19 spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun said the state had surpassed 40% full vaccination of the targeted adult population.
"This is allowed with the condition that they have rented the space from local authorities and based on existing standard operating procedures (SOP).
"This ruling will be effective starting Thursday (Sept 2)," he said in a statement on Wednesday (Sept 1).
