Nigel Farage has hit out at counter protesters chanting ‘free Palestine’ to voice their fury after a week of riots ripped through dozens of UK towns and cities.

Unrest and violence has erupted across the UK over the past week following the killings of three young girls in Southport.
In the latest development a Labour councillor was arrested after he was allegedly filmed calling for far-right protesters' throats to be cut at a rally.
Cllr Ricky Jones, who sits on Dartford Borough Council in Kent, is said to have made the remarks while at an anti-racist demonstration on Wednesday night.

“The man who was making those very unpleasant comments has now been removed as a Labour councillor and subsequently arrested”, he said.
“But it’s interesting. Isn’t it? Despite the things he said, big applause from the crowd.
“Also, chants of ‘free Palestine’. What the hell has Palestine got to do with it?”
The Reform UK leader has also been called out on his posts made on X (formely Twitter) last week, where he questioned why the Southport stabbing tragedy was being treated as a "non-terror incident" and argued that the "truth" of the suspect's identity was being concealed.

“What happened in Southport would not have been of the same magnitude had the truth been told and told very, very quickly,” Mr Farage said on LBC on Friday.
“Had those questions been answered, far from stoking riots, it would have actually calmed them down considerably.”
