PETALING JAYA: A 15-year-old boy stabbed his brother and his friend following a heated argument at a flat near Taman Putra Damai, Kelana Jaya.
Petaling Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Fakhrudin Abdul Hamid said they were alerted to the incident at around 12.08pm on Sunday.
“We received information about a man who was stabbed, and rushed our personnel to the scene.
“When they arrived at the scene, one of the victims, a 24-year-old man, was lying on the ground bleeding from the left side of his chest and stomach,” he said yesterday.
“Another victim, a 19-year-old male who was a friend of the 24-year-old victim, had suffered injuries to his back,” he added.
ACP Mohamad Fakhrudin said the 15-year-old suspect was sitting on a chair near the victims.
“The two victims were rushed to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre, while the suspect was taken into custody.
“Investigations revealed the incident occurred after the 24-year-old confronted the suspect, his brother, for going on a motorcycle ride without informing his elder sister.
“A fight occurred between the two and the second victim tried to break up the scuffle, but was injured by the foldable knife used by the suspect,” he said, adding that the suspect would be remanded to facilitate investigations.
