An 18-year-old man was injured in a shooting on Jean Baptiste Point DuSable Lake Shore Drive in the Gold Coast Tuesday night, Chicago police said.

       The man was inside a vehicle around 7:35 p.m. northbound in the 800 block of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive. Another vehicle pulled alongside and someone inside fired shots, according to police.

       The man was struck multiple times, and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition, police said.

       No one was in custody, and detectives were investigating.
