       MALAYSIAN singer Jess Lee Kar Wei, who wishes to have children later in her life, has chosen to freeze her eggs, reported Sin Chew Daily.

       The 33-year-old from Negri Sembilan shared the entire process of how she had her eggs frozen in Taiwan on her social media.

       Having spent T$160,000 (RM23,840) for the procedure, Lee has successfully frozen 17 of her eggs.

       “The doctor told me if I want to have two kids, I should have around 20 eggs. As such, I think 17 should be enough,” she said in a video.

       Lee, who has been in a relationship for three years, said she has no immediate plans to get married and have kids.

       “I’ve always been someone with a plan. My dream is to get married and have kids by the time I am 35.

       “However, due to the pandemic that caused this disruption to the entertainment industry, my plans will possibly have to be postponed for me to focus on my career,” she said.

       In 2010, she made a name for herself after winning the seventh season in the Taiwanese talent show One Million Star, making her the first Malaysian to have done so.

       She subsequently signed on with Warner Music Taiwan in 2011 and has since released four albums.

       Her contract with Warner Music ended in 2019, and she has since started her own indie label and produced her own music.

       > The EASI food delivery company has banned a YouTuber from using its app after he was found to have pranked one of its delivery riders by directing him to a cemetery, reported China Press.

       “Our company does not condone riders taking private delivery jobs. However, after speaking with the delivery rider in question, we found out that he was threatened by the customer.

       “He was told that if he does not deliver (to the location directed), he would be given a bad review. They also offered him an extra RM50 for his trouble,” the company’s spokesperson told the daily.

       It was earlier reported that a YouTuber pulled a prank on one of EASI’s delivery rider on Oct 22 by sending him to a memorial park.

       Only when he arrived at the Nirvana Memorial Park in Semenyih did the YouTuber reveal that it was a prank.

       Upset with the episode, the rider posted his entire WhatsApp conversation with the prankster online.

       The YouTuber was found to also have transferred RM5,000 to the rider in a bid to resolve the matter.

       While many Internet users criticised the YouTuber for his behaviour, some also chided the rider for accepting the RM5,000.

       After getting the entire story from the delivery rider, EASI has since banned the YouTuber from using its app.

       “We had a good chat with the rider. We hope to do our best to protect our rider’s welfare.

       “As such, we hope everyone would stop criticising the rider to avoid causing him further stress,” the spokesperson said.
