Revellers flooded the streets and went to bars and clubs across the country to toast to the three-day break, ahead of Bank Holiday Monday.
The streets of London, Newcastle, Manchester and Leeds have been swarming with punters.
While most revellers enjoyed a boozy night out, it was all too much for some who were pictured passed-out on pavements.

It comes as Brits bask this weekend with temperatures rising to 25C, making the country warmer than Crete.
Forecasters say almost everyone will see sunshine, with no rain at all forecast.
Met Office spokesman Grahame Madge said: "It will be a largely fine and settled weekend.
"There's very little - if any - rain in the forecast."
