Ben Everitt went on a rant against anti-vaxxers who he thinks the authorities must come down harder on after yet another violent protest took place in an NHS centre in Milton Keynes yesterday. Mr Everitt, who is the Conservative MP of Milton Keynes North, stressed that new sanctions must be imposed in a bid to deter protesters and vandals from overstepping the mark time and again. Yesterday’s protest in Buckinghamshire quickly turned ugly as the stroppy demonstrators hurled abuse at the staff, threw traffic cones at a tent and knocked down signs indicating the way to the testing centre.

       Equipment was badly damaged and one woman even stole test kits and papers from the tent before ruthlessly dumping them into a nearby bin.

       Health Secretary Sajid Javid described the incidents as “vile” and “unacceptable” but no arrests have been made yet by the police.

       The rampaging activists stormed the Covid testing site holding up banners saying “Boris lied, people died”, “freedom is not negotiable”, ”99.97 percent are not dying”, ”If you comply you are complicit”, “No Vax passports”, “Experimental Covid vaccines kill”, “Reclaim NHS, End Jab Tyranny NOW”.

       Speaking to GB News, Mr Everitt aired his views on the incidents, urging Britain to “throw the book” at protesters for their actions and outbursts.

       He said: “The anti-vaxxers have done various protests around Milton Keynes.

       “The problem with this one is that many, many more people turned up to it.

       “It turned from a protest into a march and then march went to the wrong place.

       “It went to a testing centre instead of their original target of a vaccination centre.

       “The scenes filmed at the testing centre caused such outrage on social media.

       “I was absolutely furious, it’s a ridiculous thing to do to disrupt people going about being tested.

       “It’s absolutely outrageous.

       “It’s not on, it’s not acceptable, we need to seriously think about how we stop this happening and we also need to throw the book at people who cause these disruptions.”

       A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said that action will be taken to bring “offenders to justice”.

       The incidents coincided with Boris Johnson's visit to a vaccination centre in Milton Keynes with the Prime Minister telling people to get tested before New Year's Eve festivities.

       While waiting for the police to carry out their investigation and identify the culprits, Home Secretary Priti Patel took the opportunity to remind people of the importance of getting vaccinated and boosted.

       She said: "And it is completely unacceptable that conspiracy theorists are intimidating and harassing those administering tests or delivering the life-saving vaccine programme.

       "The police have my full support to take swift action where necessary."

       To compound matters the same group of protesters, led by conspiracy theorist and anti-vaccination activist Piers Corbyn, then turned their attentions to a theatre in the same city, causing havoc during a pantomime performance yesterday afternoon.

       A number of children in attendance, who were watching the Jack and the Beanstalk show, were understood to have been left frightened by the rally.
