The teenager, Niko Estep, of Southeast Washington, was found with gunshot wounds around 11:40 p.m. at 14th and Fairmont Streets NW, police said.

He was taken to a hospital, where he died, according to police.

A second gunshot victim, described only as younger than 18, was found nearby in the 1400 block of Fairmont Street, an address in the Columbia Heights area. He was taken to a hospital with wounds that were described as not being life-threatening, police said on Saturday.

In the second incident, a man was found with gunshot wounds in the 3500 block of A Street SE around 7:40 a.m. He died at the scene, police said.

His name was withheld pending positive identification and notification of relatives, police said.

In the Saturday afternoon shooting, a man was described as unconscious and not breathing after being found around 3:45 p.m. in the 1400 block of L Street SE, said Beth Grannis, a police spokeswoman.

The address is about two blocks from the southeastern edge of Capitol Hill.
