A WOMAN was left baffled after finding an entire POTATO inside a bag of salt and vinegar crisps.
Katherine Allen said the bag of usually crunchy sea salt and balsamic vinegar Kettle Chips was a little “soggy”, which is when she first realised something was wrong.

Katherine, a vegan food blogger, said the 150 gram bag of salty snacks had been purchased for around £2 from Staplehurst Sainsbury’s in Kent last week by her parents.
The 22-year-old, from Bristol, told The Sun: “It had other crisps in the bag too but they were all a bit soggy.
“Then I found the potato.
“I was disappointed that they were stale and then also that there was a potato.
“I left it on the side and I think one of my parents put it in the bin.
“I did take a bite out of it, but it wasn’t very nice. It was quite crispy on the outside because it had obviously been through the crisp process, it was just quite soggy inside.”
She added: "If it was crunchier it would have been great.
"It was a fun and unexpected surprise in the pack."

Despite the traumatic experience, recent grad Katherine insisted she was still a big Kettle Chips fan - adding the vegan “sheese” and red onion flavour were great.
She said: "I love Kettle Chips as they're so good for vegans, especially the 'sheese' and onion ones."
A spokesperson for Kettle Chips said: “We would like to apologise to our consumer for any inconvenience caused.
"We’re very proud to create delicious hand-cooked crisps made from 100 per cent British potatoes.
“These potatoes are sliced, fried and seasoned at our site in Norwich and very occasionally, small potatoes can get through the slicing process without being cut.
“We’re sorry to hear that this happened to this particular consumer but pleased to hear that KETTLE? Chips remains Katherine’s brand of choice.”
