Conservatives have launched a last-ditch advertising blitz warning Labour will impose road pricing schemes across the country.
It comes after the Express exposed Labour’s plan to extend policies introduced in Wales to the rest of Britain.

The Labour-run Welsh Government has introduced legislation allowing it to designate main roads as “clean-air zones” where charges are imposed on motorists, as part of measures to improve air quality.
In addition it says it expects to see clean air zones “established in towns and cities throughout Wales.”
The Sunday Express revealed Labour’s National Policy Forum, led by party chairwoman Anneliese Dodds, committed the party to new laws extending the proposals to the rest of Britain.

An internal report published by the National Policy Forum revealed: “We will pass a Clean Air Act – building on the pioneering work of Labour in Wales – establishing a legal right to breathe clean air and placing tough new duties on Ministers to ensure air quality guidelines are met.”
Labour says it will not extend ultra or low emission zones and “will leave decisions on local traffic measures to local communities – not politicians in Westminster”.
