In an interview, Dr Al-Tabtabaei said, “The Job Creators program mainly targets professions that are practiced but not taught in universities and educational institutions, such as facilities management. The target groups are young graduates, as Kuwaiti youth are afraid of working in the private sector, because of which they need awareness, encouragement and motivation in order to break this barrier. They will be provided with appropriate training that will contribute to preparing them to take on various jobs.

       Discovered

We discovered that there are no Kuwaitis working in the paralegal profession, due to which we provided training programs as well as 50 jobs for them in law firms last year. Also, the program provides seven different training courses, which combine theoretical lectures and field work”. He praised the great support provided by the Director General of the Public Authority for Youth Dr. Mishaal Al-Shaheen Al-Rabee to provide all facilities for the Job Creators Program and to give the required directions to create a project work strategy.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) has informed the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiaries of the necessity of canceling internal and external training courses when it submit its budget for 2022/2023, similar to what happened in the current fiscal year, as part of efforts to rationalize spending, reports Al-Anba daily quoting senior oil sources.

The same sources said training in the oil sector will happen only at the Petroleum Training Center in Ahmadi affiliated to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. However, some sources say stopping external training will have negative consequences when it comes to training Kuwaitis to work in the oil sector in the area of modern scientific and practical expertise. In the meantime, the Public Relations and Security Media Department and Security Media of the Ministry of Interior stated the ministry in cooperation with the General Department of Information Systems, has launched an electronic service where military and defense personnel can request for a salary certificate, reports Al-Rai daily.
