JOHOR BARU: MCA four new assemblymen have been instructed to shoulder their responsibilities and work hard to return the support of the people, says Datuk Wee Ka Siong.

       "The four new MCA YB's have pledged to support the leadership of Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohamed," said Wee in a post on Facebook.

       The MCA president said the four new assemblyman, Ling Tian Soon (Yong Peng), YB Tan Chong (Bekok), YB Tan Eng Meng (Pekan Nenas) and YB Lee Ting Han (Paloh), had come to meet him in Johor Baru after receiving the results.

       During the recent state election in Johor, Barisan had sealed a landslide victory with 40 seats, with MCA contributing four.

       This gave the coalition a two-thirds majority in the state.

       "With the huge mandate given to Barisan in forming the Johor Government, now is the time to develop Johor and bring prosperity and well-being to its people," he added.
