Wetherspoon’s founder and chairman Tim Martin said: “ Our pubs are known for offering excellent food and drinks, at great prices. We believe that customers will welcome the value-for-money breakfasts in the pubs.”
The pub chain says 117 of its locations will be offering the small breakfast and muffin deal at £3.99, while at three sites it will cost £4.99. Wetherspoon did not confirm the locations where prices are more expensive.
The £2.99 breakfast offers also do not apply to pubs in the Republic of Ireland, pubs in airports or those at Liverpool Street, St Pancras International, Victoria and Waterloo railway stations.
