       In 2018, Queen Camilla and King Charles made an appearance on MasterChef Australia.

       Charles invited MasterChef Australia judges Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan and George Calombaris to a reception for 150 guests at the Royal Flying Doctor Service base in Darwin, Australia, catered for by the contestants.

       The brief for the cooking challenge was reported to be "Aboriginal, local, sustainable", reported Australia's Now To Love.

       During her appearance on the show, Camilla was asked about her husband's favourite foods.

       Despite having likely sampled some of the finest cuisine in the world, Charles' favourites are very relatable, run-of-the-mill staples.

       She added that eggs paired with "a lot of local vegetables" would go down a treat with the royal - "he'd love that".

       However, Camilla shared one thing she wouldn't like to see on a tray at a royal reception - garlic.

       While garlic is a tasty addition to most meals, it can leave a pungent scent on the breath of those who eat it.

       Camilla said that "garlic is a no-no", confirming that you have to "lay off" it when hosting.

       In conversation with HELLO!, Graham Tinsley MBE, former manager of the Welsh Culinary Team confirmed that Charles isn't a great lover of garlic.

       He said: "Charles doesn't like chocolate, he doesn't like coffee, nor does he like garlic. So we do have to consider these things when we're creating a menu for him."

       But he did divulge that the royal enjoys a particular side salad with every meal. The "very precise" side salad is a coddled egg buried beneath salad leaves, which he would mash himself to create a dressing.
