A SCHOOLKID has been rushed to hospital with a suspected head injury after being hit by a van outside a school.
Emergency services rushed to Golden Flatts Primary School in Hartlepool after the child was struck by the van this morning.

Police confirmed the collision involved a child of "primary school age" just after 8.30am.
Officers closed off Seaton Lane as they attended the incident outside the school.
The child, who suffered a suspected head injury, was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said: "Police received a call just after 8.30am reporting a primary age child had been in collision with a white van on Seaton Lane.

"The child is believed to have suffered a head injury and was tended to at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital.
"Seaton Lane has been closed from the roundabout at Brenda Road to the Seaton Lane/Jutland Road junction to allow collision investigation work to get underway so we would ask motorists to seek alternative routes."
