PETALING JAYA: The election machinery of MIC for the Johor polls has received the thumbs up from fellow Barisan Nasional component party MCA.
MCA president Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong paid a visit to Johor MIC operations room and was impressed by the organisation of MIC’s election machinery.
“In response to MIC president Tan Sri SA Vigneswaran’s visit to the Johor MCA office, I paid a visit to the Johor MIC operations room,” said Dr Wee.
He added that he was given a briefing on Barisan and MIC’s election machinery’s plans and movement for the Johor polls.
“The machinery work by MIC is thorough and well organised! This will ensure the victory of Barisan candidates, which will guarantee a stable future for the people of Johor,” said Dr Wee in a Facebook post on Wednesday (March 2).
Barisan is contesting all 56 seats on offer in the Johor election.
Of the 56 seats, Umno has fielded 37 candidates while MCA and MIC are contesting in 15 and four seats respectively.
