KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian rubber market is expected to remain volatile this week with more uncertainties seen prevailing, Bernama reported.
Malaysian Rubber Glove Manufacturers Association immediate past president Denis Low told the local news agency that the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia was negatively impacting businesses.
“There is a huge question surfacing, which is how the Europeans and other countries are to grapple with each other over the sanctions to be imposed on Russia.
“It is obvious that in hurting Russia, Europeans and others may also be hurting themselves as sanctions means a halt to doing business,” he told Bernama.
