KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan H & L High-Tech Bhd (High-Tec) continued to attract strong trading interest in early trade Wednesday.

       The engineering solutions group surged 14.29%, or 32 sen to RM2.56, its highest since mid-February.

       In the second quarter ended April 30, High-Tec returned to the black with a net profit of RM2.65mil against a net loss of RM656,000 a year ago.

       Its revenue rose 72.5% to RM5.5mil in the second quarter against RM3.2mil in the same quarter last year.

       In the first six months to April 30, High-Tec posted a net profit of RM4.37mil on revenue of RM11.23mil.
