During a Zoom interview hosted by Def Jam Recordings Southeast Asia (SEA), the hip-hop legend, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, praised Joe Flizzow’s popular online talent search – 16 Baris.

Expressing his delight at Joe Flizzow’s programme and how well it was doing on YouTube, the internationally acclaimed rapper was excited and had nothing but praise for him.

“You guys got it real good over here. Love it!

“This is what I have been talking about and you guys are actually doing it,” said Snoop Dogg.

During the session, Snoop Dogg promised to give Joe Flizzow and fellow Def Jam SEA-sponsored artists a chain and was looking forward to seeing them.

The Apa Khabar singer was honoured to meet Snoop Dogg and hoped for a collaboration someday.

He shared some snippets of the session on his Instagram account with the caption:

“Amazing Zoom call with the legendary Snoop Dogg.

“Thank you for the words of encouragement and looking forward to creating more history,”.

In January, he collaborated with famous South Korean hip-hop artist Jay Park and K-Clique’s MK for Ciao, composed by ALYPH.

Aside from Joe Flizzow, Def Jam SEA boasts an impressive line-up including Daboyway, Yung Raja, Fariz Jabba, ALYPH and A. Nayaka.

Kedah police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said the trader gave the woman the money in April and was promised to get her capital and profits back within a month.

The trader later suspected it was a scam after the woman gave various reasons when inquired about her investment.

Comm Kamarul Zaman said the trader lodged a report on Sept 15 and following that, the police arrested a 30-year-old female beauty business founder in front of her shop in Pendang to assist in the investigation.

He said there had been two police reports regarding the case but believed more people had fallen victim to the scam and had yet to lodge police reports.

As the woman had promised to return the money.
