KUALA LUMPUR: UEM Sunrise Bhd has upgraded its property mobile app, hUb Prop, with a new green partnership and extended rewards for its customer loyalty scheme, Trésor Partnership Program.
“Digitalisation has always been our top priority. We are committed to introducing cutting-edge solutions for our customers and building an app that assists property investors and homeowners in navigating their home ownership journey with ease and efficiency,” UEM Sunrise chief executive officer Sufian Abdullah said.
He noted that Covid-19 has accelerated the digitalisation of many businesses.
The upgrades, launched at the company’s Kiara Bay Sales Gallery here yesterday, come as UEM Sunrise is similarly in the process of modernising its systems to better connect with its customers, as well as searching for more efficient ways to progress internally.
“The first (upgrade) is the revamped user interface because we engage with the customer and get feedback on how we should improve it.
“Second is the extended partnerships. We had nine before, but now we have 30,” UEM Sunrise digital and technology innovation director Hasniza Mohamed said.
She also highlighted the personalisation of the app, where users can “pick and choose what they want to see”.

The app provides a comprehensive channel for homeowners to obtain services and information about UEM Sunrise, exclusive rewards, product launches, sales campaigns, virtual tours, progress billing, project progress, key handover appointments and defect management.
With the upgrade, the Trésor programme offers homeowners interior design packages, home furnishing, home warranty, emergency home assistance and solar panel subscription and ownership.
At a press conference in conjunction with the launch, UEM Sunrise chief marketing officer Kenny Wong Koon Keng said the initiative is in part an acknowledgement of the Trésor community, which accounted for 34% of the 2023 total sales through repeat purchase discounts and the UEM Sunrise referral scheme.
The app also includes a collaboration with Sireh Park’s Plant the Future campaign in Johor, where customers have the opportunity to participate and volunteer through the hUb Prop app. The initiative aims to rejuvenate indigenous trees and increase biodiversity in Sireh Park.
“This is the first time we’re bringing our customers into our ESG (environmental, social and governance) initiatives,” Sufian said.
“Every time we hand over keys to our homeowners, we give them the opportunity to participate; you can actually participate voluntarily in hUb Prop, so it gives you easy access to donate and to contribute,” he added.
Before the update, the app had about 9,900 downloads, with 55% of them active users.
With the improved user interface, enhanced partnership programmes and green initiatives, Wong hopes not just to increase the number of downloads but active usage to 70%.
