Why did Katie Price lose her driving licence?
KATE Price has been banned from driving six times in the last 10 years.
The mum-of-five and former glamour model has also racked up a series of run-ins with the police for a variety of driving offences since 2003.
Katie Price‘s latest driving ban came after she failed to tell police who was behind the wheel of her pink Range Rover when it crashed in south east London.
The star was charged with withholding the name of the driver and she landed a two-year driving ban, reduced to 18 months, in 2019.
Katie had expected to get her driving licence back in April 2021, but was banned for a further six months following an admin bungle.

Katie’s driving history (Continued...)
2018 - Katie landed a six-month ban in February 2018 for speeding after totting up 12 penalty points.
In July, photos emerged of her driving while still banned.
A month later, she crashed her Range Rover while allegedly on her mobile phone.
Then in October she spent 13 hours in police custody after being arrested on suspicion of drink driving.
2019 - In 2019, she was given a three-month ban for driving while disqualified in January of that year.
And then in October, Price was banned from driving for 18 months for failing to inform police who was behind the wheel of her pink Range Rover during a crash in Bexley, south east London.
2021 - On September 28, Price was rushed to hospital after a dramatic 'drug and drink-drive' crash that could leave her facing jail, The Sun revealed.

Katie's driving history
The mum-of-five and former glamour model has been banned from driving six times in the last 10 years.
2003 - Katie Price escaped a speeding charge after police failed to arrest her within 12 weeks of allegedly clocking 70mph in a 40mph zone in her Range Rover on October 3.
2008 - After talking on the mobile phone while driving on April 18, Price landed three penalty points.
2009 - Price failed to provide the identity of the driver after her car was allegedly caught speeding in a 30mph zone, but she was let off on a legal technicality. Her lawyers argued she was only speeding to get away from paparazzi, but police said there were no other speeding vehicles around.
2010 - Price was convicted for failing to be in proper control of her horsebox after veering into another lane in February and was given three points on her licence, bringing her total to 10.
The former Loose Women panellist was then in December banned from driving for six months.
2012 - Two years later, Katie was disqualified for 12 months for failing to respond to two speeding tickets in September.

Banned from driving for ‘another 6 months’ in April
The ex-glamour model, 42, served an 18-month disqualification for failing to identify a driver, which ended at the beginning of April 2021.
She was “excited” to get back on the roads and had work done to her pink Volkswagen Beetle so she could drive it again.
But when she rang the DVLA on Monday to arrange for a new licence to be sent to her, she was told she still had to serve another six months due to a previous totting up offence for speeding.
However it is believed forms Katie needed to fill out after a conviction were sent to an old address.
A source said: “Katie was really looking forward to being on the roads legally again.
“She rang the DVLA and they dropped the bombshell that she’s banned for another six months and said it was for totting up.
“They advised her to appeal to the DVLA about this.
“She should be driving next week, she hopes. She’s made mistake but this genuinely is an admin error. Katie has done her time.”

Breaking her self-imposed booze ban
Katie Price broke her self-imposed booze ban at the start of September after the stress of her alleged assault and split from Carl Woods.
The glamour model, 43, went on a booze bender at the NTAs, The Sun On Sunday can reveal.
Katie and son Harvey, 19, were invited to the do at London’s O2 Arena after winning an award nomination for poignant ITV documentary Harvey and Me.
And guests alongside her at the ceremony told how the reality TV star – who had been on a booze ban – was downing white wine after walking the red carpet.
“Katie has publicly claimed to be teetotal — but she already seemed quite drunk by the time she took her seat in the auditorium.
“She was knocking back the wine and asking for vodka. She was telling people, ‘I’m single, I’ve dumped him’ and was clearly focused on moving on. They had been constantly rowing, and she said she’d had enough.
“She said she was back living at her house in West Sussex even though it wasn’t fully done up yet. But she was adamant she wouldn’t go back to his place. As far as she’s concerned, it’s over.”

Katie has a ‘lot on her plate’
Katie Price is "struggling" and has "a lot on her plate" after her relationship and cash woes, a source has said.
This comes after the mum-of-five, 43, overturned her 4x4 on a country road on Tuesday morning and was rushed to hospital.
A source close to the former model said: “Katie has been through an awful lot lately - relationship problems, money troubles, and she’s been very open about her own health problems - plus her mum has been very unwell.
“On top of that she’s a devoted mum, so a lot of us who know her are just very worried for her own safety and wellbeing too.
“Lots of people love and care about her, and it’s difficult to see her struggling - hopefully this will all pass and she will be able to move forwards with her life.
“Once things have calmed down hopefully she will have time to be with the people she loves and work out where things stand - she has an awful lot on her plate.”
