KUALA LUMPUR: Police are looking for a local man to assist with a human trafficking case.

       The man is Yew Khar Eik, 39, whose last known address is 51, Taman Sri Murni, Jalan Tunku Abdul Razak, Alor Setar, Kedah.

       Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Amihizam Abdul Shukor said the man is needed as a witness to assist an investigation into a human trafficking case under the Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants Act (Atipsom).

       "We urge those with information to come forward to the nearest police station," he said.
