       A top ally to Donald Trump has torn into Foreign Secretary David Lammy issuing a stern warning for what could happen to the UK if he does not apologise for his controversial past comments on the President-elect.

       Dr. Sebastian Gorka, previously a deputy advisor to newly elected Mr Trump, has vowed “all will be well” with the United States' relationships with other countries “if their leaders believe in the West and support American leadership.”

       However, Dr. Gorka was quick to interject with “except for that imbecile Lammy,” as he commented on the tumultuous relationship between members of the UK's Labour Government and America's next president.

       “If he doesn't publicly apologise for calling my former boss a ‘neo-Nazi sympathising sociopath,’ then relations between our two great nations will be unnecessarily strained,” he said.

       When a backbench MP, Foreign Secretary Mr Lammy had savaged Mr Trump in a string of derogatory social media posts.

       One has resurfaced showing that Mr Lammy said on X in 2017: “If Trump comes to the UK, I will be out protesting in the streets. He is a racist KKK and Nazi sympathiser.”

       Mr Lammy spoke to the BBC yesterday in his first public interview since the posts resurfaced, but has not yet issued an apology.

       He claimed the remarks were "old news" and said you would "struggle to find any politician" who had not said some "pretty ripe things" about Mr Trump in the past.

       "In that period, particularly with people on Twitter, lots of things were said about Donald Trump," he said.

       Mr Lammy added: "I think that what you say as a backbencher and what you do wearing the real duty of public office are two different things.

       "And I am foreign secretary. There are things I know now that I didn't know back then."

       Sir Keir Starmer came under pressure over the remarks at Prime Minister’s Questions in the Commons on Wednesday from the new Tory leader Kemi Badenoch, dodging the chance to apologise on his behalf.

       Dr. Gorka believes the countries that mirror America’s stance on the “fight [against] anti-Western wokeism” will succeed in strengthening ties with the new leader.

       Regarding his relationships with other European presidents such as Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Dr. Gorka believes that “the savage war in Ukraine could be over by Inauguration Day given what the President has already intimated.”

       He added: “He will demand both sides settle. If Putin refuses, he will be told the support already provided to Kiev will be infinitesimal in comparison to what a second Trump Administration will provide.”
