The Duke and Duchess of Sussex cordially invite you to visit their website. But not for too long.

       The couple, whose Archewell website invites fans to subscribe to updates about their “compassion in action”, have introduced a time-out message to remind visitors about their screen time.

       “We love having you here...” they say after 20 minutes spent on the page. “But we’re mindful of screen time. Why not take a break? We’ll be here.”

       The message is part of the couple’s mission to improve the online experience by combating misinformation and building healthier communities.

       One of Archewell’s partners, the Centre for Humane Technology, advises turning off online notifications, removing “toxic” apps, and tracking screen time to change habits.

       “As we increasingly understand the direct link between technology and its effect on each of us - online and offline - Archewell Foundation will continue to prioritise critical work around the state of our digital world,” the couple say, on their website.

       The couple are back at home in California, after a three day trip to New York on a de facto post-royal tour.

       They were in the city to promote vaccine equity, taking part in a worldwide "Global Citizen Live" concert urging leaders to share vaccine doses to help end the Covid-19 pandemic.

       During the trip, they were also photographed visiting the United Nations to meet with Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, during an annual gathering of world leaders.

       The trip also saw Prince Harry - in his role of president of African Parks - meet with the President of Angola, Jo？o Louren？o.

       Both Duke and Duchess spent time with New York Governor Kathy Hochul and New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio during a visit to One World Trade Centre.

       On Friday, Prince Harry joined primary school children sitting on the floor of a school in Harlem to hear Meghan read from her book, The Bench.
