A 54-year-old man has been arrested and charged with murder in the fatal shooting of his roommate in District Heights, Prince George’s County, police said.
Dwayne Houge, of District Heights, is charged with first- and-second-degree murder and related counts in the killing of Harold James Roberts Jr., 41, police said.

Officers responded at about 10:10 p.m. on Nov. 9 for a reported shooting at an apartment in the 6700 block of Alpine Street, police said. They found Roberts with a gunshot wound. He died of his injuries the next day, police said.
Houge was taken into custody at the scene, police said. According to a preliminary investigation, police said Houge shot Roberts during an argument.
It was not immediately clear whether Houge has an attorney.
