       KUWAIT CITY, July 17: The Public Institution for Social Security announced on Wednesday that it completed 81,913 transactions in the first half of 2024.

       According to statistics released by the institution, it received 591,490 visitors during this period. The number of certificates issued to individuals reached 173,146, while 42,690 certificates were issued to business owners.

       The organization reported that 49,546 transactions were completed through electronic channels. This includes 9,803 transactions via the electronic portal, 46,609 through the insurance application “Dhakr,” and 11,134 transactions via the unified government application “Sahel.”

       Furthermore, a total of 530,737 certificates were issued through electronic channels. These include 55,703 certificates issued via the electronic portal, 88,746 via the “Dhakr” insurance application, 373,347 via the “Sahel” application, and 12,941 through self-service kiosks.

       The statistics underscore the increasing utilization of digital channels by both individuals and business owners for completing transactions and obtaining necessary certificates.
