Authorities said detectives were notified on Nov. 24 after the victim told a parent that he was “sexually assaulted by an instructor on several occasions since the summer,” according to a statement.
Rendon took the victim several times to his Alexandria home “during instructional periods where he sexually assaulted the victim,” police said. He was arrested and charged with three counts of indecent liberties by a custodian. He is being held without bond. It was not immediately clear if he had a lawyer.
Detectives said anyone who believes Rendon had inappropriate contact with them or their child could call police at 703-246-7800, option 3.
