       The 22nd Academic Conference “China, Chinese Civilization and the World: History, Modernity and Future Prospects”, this year devoted to the 50th anniversary of the RAS Institute of Far Eastern Studies”, will be held in Moscow on October 12-13, 2016.

       Apart from the plenary session, the conference program will include the round-table discussion on “The Silk Road Economic Belt: Problems and Prospects” (Moderator – Prof. Dr. S. G. Luzianin, Director of the IFES RAS) and the following panels:

       1. Economy of China (Moderator – Prof. Dr. A. V. Osrtovskiy)

       2. The PRC Foreign Policy (Moderator – Dr. S. V. Uyanaev)

       3. China’s Domestic Politics (Moderator – Prof. Dr. A. V. Vinogradov)

       4. China: History and Modernity (Moderators – Prof. Dr. N. L. Mamaeva and Dr. D. A. Smirnov)

       5. China’s Spiritual Culture (Philosophy and Religion) (Moderator – Prof. Dr. A. E. Lukyanov)

       6. Chinese Language, Education, Literature and Arts (Moderators – Prof. Dr. O. I. Zavyalova and Dr. A. N. Korobova)

       The application kit should contain:

       the filled-in Registration Form (to be downloaded, doc) the paper abstract (the layout sample to be downloaded, doc) scanned copy of passport (for those, who need the visa support and / or hotel booking)

       The Organizing Committee plans to publish the Collected Papers of the Conference that will be included in the Russian Index of Academic Quotation.

       Registration Fee for Foreign Participants – 100 USD.
