The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has raised questions over the recently concluded tender of solar-powered irrigation pumps in Chhattisgarh under the centrally sponsored KUSUM scheme. The ministry claims the high bids received in the tender could lead to a loss of Rs 200 crore to the exchequer.
