Police did not name the teen.

Officers found Cooper around 10:50 p.m. on Oct. 5 with gunshot wounds outside in the 4100 block of Southern Avenue in the Capitol Heights area, police said. He later died at a hospital.

Police said that according to an initial investigation, the shooting stemmed from a dispute between the teen and Cooper.

It was not immediately clear whether the teen has an attorney.
