       KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: Kuwaiti nurses working in government institutions covered by the Civil Service Commission Resolution No. 5 of 2009 will receive increase in allowances (be it for shift or risk or any other) of between 450 and 850 dinars, according to the job title of each nurse, reports Al-Anba daily. On the other hand, the Ministry of Health said those who have grievances about ‘excellent work awards’ must file them ‘online’ at the https://grievance.moh.gov. kw/bonus/ link before Sept 16, 2021.

       No grievances will be entertained after September 16. Once a complaint is filed, the concerned employee will receive a text message within 24 hours acknowledging receipt of the grievance. When submitting the grievance, the 2020 work assessment file must be attached in PDF format. The Ministry of Health stipulated that the employee submitting the grievance should have obtained an ‘excellent’ assessment during the year 2020, and no disciplinary punishment was taken against him/her during the entire year. This is in addition to the sick leave which must have not exceeded 15 days except in case of hospitalization, and that he/she has not been paid for ‘excellent work’ for the year 2020. The person must have completed 180 actual working days and 70% of the number of shift days for workers in this system.
