KUCHING: Opposition party Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) has picked up a second seat through Johnichal Rayong Ngipa, who retained the Engkilili seat, with a 1,191 majority.
His closest opponent is Gabungan Parti Sarawak’s (GPS) Desmond Sateng Sanjan, who polled 2,055 votes.
Independent candidate Gemong Batu polled 2,013 seats, while Parti Bumi Kenyalang’s Stel Datu polled only 151 to lose his deposit.
Earlier, PSB retained the Ba'kelalan seat through Baru Bian.
