GEORGE TOWN: A motorcycle was was almost completely burnt in an accident on Penang Bridge.

       In a statement from the Fire and Rescue Department, the accident happened at KM7.4 from Penang Island heading to the mainland.

       “When the firemen arrived at the scene, there was a fire involving a motorcycle. The motorcycle was 90% burnt due to an accident on Sunday (July 18) at around 6.50pm,” the statement read.

       It is learnt that the motorcyclist suffered several injuries and that the cause of the incident has yet to be determined.
