GEORGE TOWN: A car crashed and turned turtle on the mainland bound side of the Penang Bridge on Sunday (Feb 27).

       Based on information and photos shared on social media, the incident occurred along KM5.4 of the mainland bound side of the bridge.

       The photos indicated that the car had turned turtle blocking the two innermost lanes leaving only a single lane available for vehicles heading to the mainland.

       It has been indicated via the photos taken by a passerby that only one vehicle was involved in the crash.
