Prince Harry and Meghan Markle rumours discussed by Schofield

       Prince William and Harry may never come back from the brutal feud which has ripped through the heart of the Royal Family, according to Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell.

       Burrell watched William and Harry grow up together while acting as their mother’s “best friend” and confidant.

       The two brothers were known to have relied upon one another in the wake of their mother’s tragic death, but now the pair are reportedly not even on speaking terms.

       “The trouble is once things are said they can't be taken back and people have been hurt,” Burrell told The Mirror US.

       He said he believes that Meghan Markle and Harry’s alleged attacks on Princess Kate have been too much for William to bear while Harry remains upset about the loss of his military titles.

       “I think William, is hurt because his wife has been criticized when she is above that, she's never put a foot wrong,” Burrell explained.

       He claimed the “tittle-tattle” over Kate making Meghan cry about bridesmaids’ dresses days before her wedding felt like a “betrayal” and was the “last straw” for William who otherwise could have forgiven Harry for his account of an alleged physical fight between the brothers.

       “Because, yes, he can have a fight with his brother and break a dog bowl, that's what boys do, rough and tumble. But do not criticise Kate, who has sacrificed everything for this role, to bring us an heir and to give him a queen,” Burrell said.

       He continued: “And I think William doesn't have a voice to support his wife. And Harry knows that. And so this barbed criticism, heading towards Kate couldn't be defended. And so it remains in the air as a truth.”

       However, Harry is also smarting from the loss of his military titles - the Prince is barred from wearing his uniform at Royal events.

       Burrell added: “I think Harry mourns the loss of his connection to the army, his uniforms.

       “He dedicated his whole life to service for the country, and to have that taken away from him? He didn't quite understand. He tried the best he could to keep that association alive.”

       Harry served in the British Army for 10 years which included two tours in Afghanistan. The Duke of Sussex flew combat missions piloting an Apache attack helicopter.

       To the shock of many top military officials, Harry revealed that he had killed 25 Taliban fighters while fighting in Afghanistan.

       In his tell-all memoir Spare released earlier this year, he wrote: "So, my number: 25. It wasn't a number that gave me any satisfaction. But neither was it a number that made me feel ashamed.”

       Although he was granted special permission to wear his military uniform at the final vigil for Queen Elizabeth II, he wore a plain dark suit for King Charles’s Coronation.

       Paul Burrell said doesn’t see the “war of the Waleses” ending anytime soon.

       “I think there's more ammunition in the bank, which can be fired at the royals,” he claimed.

       Princess Diana’s friend added: “Because let's face it, Meghan hasn't written a book yet. There's her perspective and her truth, we still have to get through whenever that comes out.”
